We strongly believe that giving people something healthy also means that we work with families to further connect them to food.

Our Co-founder (who is also an amazing dietitian) describes her views and the connection she desires to impart to families:

Health is at the core of our mission and nutrition is one way we can access it. Only eating kale leaves you as nutrient deprived as only eating cake. Nutrition is about balance. We are a group of eaters just like you that want to share our dream with you. We want to put the life back into your bowl.

When you are able to affordably access and cook with local fresh vegetables, something happens. You start to like the taste of your food again. When you enjoy eating and feel good, you become more connected to your body and how to nourish it. Everyday nutrition for your family should be simple and intuitive with a focus on consistency, balance, and flexibility.

We are part of the fresh perspective on health & nutrition from a place of self-care and compassion, and without using any ‘diet talk’ and food shaming. Let’s make a salad together because the lettuce was harvested today, and it sounds mouth-watering on its own and not because someone told you it’s good for you. That’s nourishing yourself. "
